Catnip and harmal are hallucinogenic plants.
Harmal is used as a spermicide and causes abortion.
Harmal in the clans is often called the Widow Maker flower, due to its harmful properties.
Valerian is highly addictive, acting as a stimulant when smelled, but causing heavy drowsiness afterwards.
Sage and harmal overdoses can and will kill. Administer and take these two with care.
Never eat garlic; use it only as a poultice.
Poppy seeds are not to be given to queens. Poppy seeds are also know to get others high and be addictive.
Never confuse celery, yarrow, or valerian with each other or with water hemlock.
